Inspired by her own near-death experience during childbirth, she turned personal pain into purpose launching a grassroots movement to provide life-saving healthcare, education, and support to underserved women and children in Northern Nigeria.
Since 2018, she has facilitated over 200 free surgeries, sponsored 250+ out-of-school children, supported 200+ water projects, and empowered countless women through business grants. Her unique fundraising model driven entirely through personal networks and has gained public trust for its honesty, transparency, and impact.
Recognized as an AIM-MNCHN Advocacy Champion under the Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria, Rukaiya also plays active roles in several civil society and peacebuilding platforms across Bauchi State.
She is a devoted mother of three and a tireless voice for dignity, equity, and community-driven change.
